Returns Management
A UK returns address for a brand that isn't in the UK.
Returns are the quiet reason cross-border brands lose UK customers. Send it back to Ohio and the customer won't bother — they'll just charge back.
We give you a UK returns address. Every item is inspected on arrival, restocked to available inventory if it's saleable, or flagged to you with a condition report if it isn't. £3.25 per item. Your store platform is updated so the refund can be triggered without you chasing anything.
01
The cost of not having a UK returns address
Ask a UK customer to post a £600 watch to Ohio at their own cost and wait three weeks. Most won't. They'll open a chargeback instead, and you lose three times over: the item, the payment, and a mark against your chargeback ratio.
Worse, you don't find out why. A chargeback tells you nothing. A returns process tells you the sizing runs small, or the clasp fails, or the photography oversells the colour.
02
What happens when a return arrives
Booked in the day it lands, against your order record, so you know it's here before the customer emails to ask.
Inspected against agreed criteria. We don't guess what "saleable" means for your brand — we agree it at onboarding. Tags present? Original box required? Is a worn strap acceptable? Your definition, applied consistently.
Photographed. Every return, not just the disputed ones. Photographs of an item on arrival end most refund arguments before they start.
Restocked or quarantined. Saleable items go straight back into available inventory in Mintsoft. Anything else is quarantined with a condition report and photographs, and held for your instruction.
Your platform is updated, so you can trigger the refund without chasing us for confirmation.
03
Patterns you'd otherwise miss
Because every return is inspected and recorded, the reasons accumulate into something useful. Three returns citing the same fault on the same SKU is a product problem. Three citing colour is a photography problem.
Available as a reporting export from Mintsoft at any time. Most brands find this more valuable than the returns handling itself.
04
What this costs
£3.25 per item, covering inspection, photography, the condition report, and either restocking or quarantine. One rate whichever way it goes — we're not incentivised to call something unsaleable.
Return postage is your policy decision, not ours. Whether you send prepaid labels or ask the customer to pay is between you and your customer.
05
What we don't do
We don't set your returns policy or decide whether a customer gets a refund — those are yours, and we apply the criteria you give us. We don't repair or refurbish. We don't dispose of quarantined stock without written instruction. Unsaleable items are quarantined for a 24–72 hour maximum window, selected at onboarding, for you to choose a disposition: liquidate, destroy, or return to vendor.

Courier shipping is billed separately. You choose your carrier — we'd suggest Royal Mail for simplicity — and it isn't included in our per-unit fee.
