Integration · WooCommerce

WooCommerce fulfilment, from our UK premises.

WooCommerce gives you more control than any hosted platform, and that control is exactly why the integration deserves a straight conversation rather than a one-click promise.

Shopify is one company running one system. Woo is your WordPress install, your hosting, your theme and your plugin stack — and no two are the same. The connection works. What varies is the environment it's working in.

The connection

How the connection works

Your store connects to our Mintsoft OMS at onboarding.

01

Orders sync through to us as they're placed.

02

Stock levels write back to your product records as we dispatch.

03

Tracking returns to the order, ready for your own customer notification.

The honest bit

The honest bit: your hosting matters

A WooCommerce connection depends on your site being reachable and responsive. On cheap shared hosting, under load, or behind an aggressive security plugin, requests can be slow or dropped — and a dropped request is an order that doesn't reach us on time.

This isn't a reason not to use Woo. It's a reason to check three things before we go live:

  1. Hosting that can handle your traffic. If your site struggles during a sale, the fulfilment connection struggles with it.
  2. Security plugins that don't block the connection. Firewalls and rate-limiters sometimes treat integration requests as suspicious. Worth whitelisting at setup.
  3. A staging site, if you have one. So a theme or plugin update doesn't take your order flow down without warning.

We'll walk through all three at onboarding. It's fifteen minutes that prevents the most common failure on this platform.

Plugin conflicts

Plugin conflicts, and what to do about them

⚠️ Woo stores accumulate plugins, and shipping or inventory plugins can conflict with an external fulfilment connection — two systems both trying to own stock levels produce numbers neither of them can explain.

Before we connect, list what you're running for shipping, inventory and order management. If something will fight with us, we'd rather know at onboarding than debug it against live orders.

Pre-requisites

Before we connect

01

WordPress admin access to authorise the connection

02

A list of your active shipping, inventory and order plugins

03

Clean SKUs and product weights

04

Confirmation of who maintains the site, if it isn't you

Courier shipping is billed separately. You choose your carrier — we'd suggest Royal Mail for simplicity — and it isn't included in our per-unit fee.
