Integration · TikTok Shop
TikTok Shop fulfilment, with a plan for the day it goes off.
The UK is one of TikTok Shop's strongest markets, and it's the platform where the gap between a normal week and a good week is widest. A video does nothing for three days and then does everything in six hours.
That's an operations problem before it's a marketing win. Most fulfilment pages won't tell you that. We will, because we'd rather plan for it with you than discover it together at 2am.
The spike plan
The spike is the thing to plan for
We hold 200 units per storage cycle. That's deliberate — it's what lets us hand-finish every order instead of running a conveyor.
It also means a video that sells 400 units in a day sells through your UK stock and keeps selling. TikTok doesn't stop taking orders because your 3PL is empty.
The agreement
So before you go live we agree three things:
Your reorder trigger.
The stock level at which we tell you to ship more, calculated from your normal run rate rather than guessed at.
Your lead time in.
How long a bulk consignment actually takes from your warehouse to our door, including clearance. This is the number that determines whether a spike becomes a stockout.
What happens if you blow through it.
Whether you'd rather we pause the listing, keep taking orders on a stated longer dispatch time, or air-freight a top-up. Decide it in advance, not in the middle of it.
The connection
How the connection works
Your TikTok Shop connects to our Mintsoft OMS at onboarding.
Orders arrive automatically as they're placed.
Tracking uploads back against the order inside TikTok's dispatch window — see below, because this is the part that decides whether your listings stay visible.
Stock updates live as we dispatch.
The 72-hour window
Dispatch inside TikTok's 72-hour window
TikTok Shop UK requires orders to be dispatched with valid tracking within 72 hours of the order being placed, including weekends.
That isn't a guideline. Late Dispatch Rate is scored on your account and the penalties escalate:
Late dispatch penalties
What late dispatch costs on TikTok Shop
| Late Dispatch Rate | What happens |
|---|---|
| Above 4% | Campaign reach is reduced |
| Above 10% | Listing visibility is cut |
| Above 15% | Account-level warnings |
The Saturday fix
So we dispatch TikTok Shop orders on Saturdays.
A weekday-only warehouse cannot hold that. An order placed Friday morning is due by Monday morning, and a Monday-to-Friday operation dispatches it Tuesday. Around a quarter of every week's orders would be late by default — against a 4% threshold.
Your TikTok orders run on a six-day dispatch week rather than the two-business-day schedule that applies to your other channels. Friday orders go out Saturday, and every order in the week stays inside 72 hours.
The Saturday fee
What Saturday dispatch costs, and who pays it
Royal Mail charges an additional fee for Saturday collections on our Online Business Account (OBA). Weekday collections are included in our standard account terms; Saturday is not.
That fee is billed to you. We pass it through at cost, exactly as we do with postage — no margin, no handling fee, no administration charge on top.
How it appears:
A separate line on your invoice for every week we make a Saturday collection for your orders.
Charged at the Royal Mail OBA rate in force that week, shown with the collection receipt.
Because your TikTok orders run on a six-day week, this is a recurring weekly cost, not an occasional one — budget for it as a fixed line rather than a surprise.
Royal Mail's fuel and energy surcharge applies to it at the current rate, passed through unchanged, as with all carriage.
We'll give you the current Saturday collection rate on the call so it's in your numbers before you sign anything. You won't find out what it costs from an invoice.
Clients who don't sell on TikTok Shop are never charged it. No Saturday collection is made on their behalf, so there's nothing to pass on.
The unboxing
Why hand-finishing matters more here
TikTok Shop customers film the unboxing. That's not a nice extra on this platform — it's how the next batch of orders gets generated.
Tissue, ribbon, a wax seal and a handwritten note aren't decoration on a TikTok order. They're the content.
Courier shipping is billed separately. You choose your carrier — we'd suggest Royal Mail for simplicity — and it isn't included in our per-unit fee.
